Monday 12 October to Thursday 22 October We’re installing new Tactile Surface Ground Indicators on platforms 1 and 2 at Heidelberg Station to help make the station safer and improve accessibility for everyone. Medium to high levels of noise are expected around Heidelberg Station. Wednesday 10 June until early March 2027 Up to 80 car spaces in the station car park are intermittently closed, due to project works. Alternative on-street parking is available on Somers Avenue. For your safety, please follow signage in place during this time.
From April 2024 to 2028 The Watsonia Station car park has been closed since April 2024. From October 2025, there will be changes for pedestrians, cars, and buses accessing Watsonia Station as part of ongoing works for M80 Ring Road Completion. new DDA-compliant paths and upgraded crossings to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians. one-way entrance from Greensborough Highway northbound and a new signalised intersection for exiting vehicles. relocated bus stop and streamlined loop to support service reliability and reduce congestion. These changes will be in place until a new Watsonia Station car park is built later in the project. We’re planning our work in the station precinct to minimise disruptions. no changes to the pedestrian overpass or station platform access. maintaining accessible parking and drop-off and pick-up areas near the station entrance. providing more than 500 parking spaces at the nearby Watsonia Station commuter car park.
6am Thursday 15 October to 6am Monday 19 October There will be temporary on-street car space closures on Jonas Street and Regent Street due to project works.
11pm Wednesday 14 October to 5pm Monday 19 October Up to 70 spaces in the Clifton Hill Station carpark are closed, due to maintenance works. For your safety, please observe any signage and instructions in place during this time.
